Upgrades
We provide our customers with free product upgrades as long as they have an active subscription/5-year license period. It is limited to the product version branch, which means that buying a product version N.x gives a right to receive free updates for the version branch N. (N.x, N.x.x) as long as the subscription/5-year license period is active. After an update is available buyers can download it from My My Projects And Licenses -> View Licenses, install it via composer or manually.
Please note: customers who do not have an active subscription (including those who canceled it) or 5-year license period running will not be able to download the extension of any version from their account on the aheadworks.com website. However they still can download the unlocked extension version using their composer keys. The customers also retain the right to use the version of the extension they downloaded/installed at the moment of time, when they had an active subscription/5-year license period. In case they want to renew or receive the subscription/5-year license period, they need to repurchase the extension. |
Email Address
The email address must be valid as it may be used for communication purposes. It is strongly recommended to use an email address associated with your company if the purchases and correspondence are being handled on the company's behalf.
Download from the website
All products are available for download from the website, as long as the following conditions are met:
- The License Fee has been successfully processed and verified.
- When the initial support and upgrades period included with your purchase (one year or five years, depending on your selection) is nearing its end (but has not yet expired), continued access to downloads requires:
- For customers on an annual subscription plan: Payment of the annual Support Fee.
- For customers with a one-time 5-year license: Extending the support and upgrades period, which can be managed through your customer account.
- For customers on an annual subscription plan: Payment of the annual Support Fee.
If you can't download a product, please make sure your order is completed or annual support fee has been duly paid, and contact our support team.
Download using composer keys
All products are available for download using composer keys after the respective license has been paid. However, once the active subscription/5-year license period expires, restrictions on versions will apply: downloads will only be available for the versions that were last available during the paid period.
Example Scenario: You purchased the Blog Extension on February 1st, 2025. On the day of purchase, module/blog version 1.0.0 is available. You opt for an annual subscription and pay for one year, but cancel further payments after 6 months. Your subscription remains active until January 31st, 2026. By this date, module/blog version 2.0.0 is available, and you retain access to it. On February 1st, 2026, when your subscription fully expires, module/blog version 2.0.1 is released. At this point, you no longer have access to version 2.0.1 or any future updates. However, you can still access module/blog version 2.0.0 and earlier. The same logic applies to a one-time 5-year license purchase. |
Refunds
To ensure your protection we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for our Magento extensions. If you are dissatisfied with a product within 30 days after the purchase for any reason, you can receive a full refund. To request a refund please submit a request logging into the account under which the purchase was made. Aheadworks refund policy does not cover subscription fees paid for SaaS products (Advanced Subscription Products, Buildify, LangShop – Language Translator Extension), installation and customization services, Support fees (recurrent subscription charges) and discounts.
