What is The Services, how does it work?
This article is applicable to Magento 2 extensions only. As for subscription products (such as Buildify, Advanced Subscription Products, Language Translator Extension), you are always eligible for support while the subscription is running.
What benefits do I get with the active subscription/5-year license period?
Currently, the license purchase of all our products comes with a limited-time support period: one year for customers on an annual subscription or five years for those who choose a one-time 5-year license purchase. During this period you are eligible for our free technical support and free upgrades.
To continue receiving the latest versions of your extension after the support period that comes with the License Fee ends:

Customers with a One-Time 5-Year License - After the five-year period ends, you will need to extend the support and upgrades period (managed through your customer account) to continue receiving the latest versions and support.

Customers on an Annual Subscription Plan - To ensure you maintain uninterrupted access to support and upgrades (the Services) after the initial year, we will automatically charge the undiscounted Support Fee annually. Once you cancel the subscription and its term has elapsed, or if regular payment has not been duly submitted, technical support and upgrades aren’t provided anymore.
Please note: You can’t extend the subscription after its expiration. |
How do I manage my support and upgrades (the Services)?
You can manage the support and upgrades (the Services) for the products you have purchased in the My Projects And Licenses tab in your account dashboard.
You should choose the option to "View licenses" attributed to the Project of your interest.
Once you move to the Project level, you will be able to:
- Find composer package name for respective Magento 2 products:
- Download the most recent version of the extensions (provided you have an active subscription/5-year license period):
- Check the next subscription payment date and/or the expiration date of your paid support and upgrade period for each product:
- Manage the subscription/license details:
- For products purchased under the one-time 5-year license plan:
On the License details page, you can:
- Extend support and upgrade period for another 5 years;
- Edit your payment details.
- For products purchased under the annual subscription plan:
On the Subscription Profile page, you can:
- Cancel your subscription;
- Switch to the one-time 5-year license plan;
- Edit your payment details.
You can renew the subscription after it was cancelled, provided the paid period has not fully expired.
Note: No actions are available for subscriptions that have been cancelled and fully expired.
The annual subscription can also be edited right from My Subscription tab.
How much does it cost to extend the subscription/paid support and upgrade period?
Prices for Support and Upgrades subscription/paid period depend on the product price itself. The subscription/support and upgrade period payment can always be found on: the product description page (when selecting the purchase plan), on the subscription/license details page, or in the Order.
Please note, that after the subscription/paid support and upgrade period expires, you are not able to renew/extend it anymore. In this case, to receive the latest version of the extension, you need to repurchase the extension again. |
