Smart One Step Checkout Extension for Magento 2 - All Questions

Our extension utilizes the same logic as Magento does to display messages returned by payment methods.
I'd suggest that you check and make sure that the messages are displayed when using native Magento checkout. Generally, those messages are returned by the payment services and we just can't enforce the extension to generate those failed payment messages itself.

I'd suggest that you first check 'State is Required for' option configuraton at Stores > Configuration > General > General > State Options to make sure it is not enabled for the countries from the list. Also, the extension utilizes native Magento options, so please check and confirm that Region / State field is not displayed when using a default Magento checkout.

The extension texts can be translated via csv file, located on the following path: app/code/Aheadworks/OneStepCheckout/i18n/en_US.csv
It should be enough to create a copy of the CSV file in that directory, rename it to the required locale, de_DE.csv for example, and make a translation of the second part of each line using a standard translation method.
While making the translation, leave the "source string" entry unmodified, and change the "translated string" to your text.

The extension is expected to work with the native Magento captcha feature. Otherwise, customization may be required.
