Hi there!
Here’s the first of “Magento Connect Statistics” reports in 2013. Let’s compare the results through the perspective of one year period: 2012 vs. 2013. I chose January as the month under report and the most popular categories as the criteria for growth.
Numerous promotions are effective in marketing your products and services. But it’s usually rather complicated to attract your visitors’ attention to special products. The situation becomes even worse when the sale seasons come.

Year 2012 didn’t fade into obscurity and be sure we didn’t cover up the results of the year and its accomplishments. Let’s open the calendar and take a look at milestones that defined the past 12 months for aheadWorks team. Amazing thing – this “apocalyptical” leap year turned out to be really successful and rich in pleasant events for us and our partners and customers.

My dreams and expectations mentioned in the blog post about Magento Hackathon in Berlin came true. I realized that it is easy to make Magento hackers happy: give them tables, electricity, Wi-Fi and the list of projects. And the freedom to decide what to do.
Officially announced on January 29, 2013, the partnership between aheadWorks and Inchoo aims at taking two companies to even higher level of cooperation. Artyom Rabzonov, aheadWorks CEO, commented on the partnership, “I’m delighted to announce that Inchoo has become aheadWorks very first official partner from Croatia. With Inchoo as a partner, we will be able to serve the Magento market even better than we were able to previously, with the benefit of Inchoo’s special knowledge and experience.”
Magento Hackathon in Berlin was a success and we wish you were there. “What’s next?”, you may ask. Are there any places in the world where you can continue grasping Magento wisdom, hack all day long and enjoy the company of soul mates? Yes, and this time we are moving to Zurich!
Since my first days in Magento ecosystem for over a year by now, I regularly meet smart, broad-minded and open folks who are passionate about Magento in a very extraordinary way, as it might seem.
It’s wise of you to stimulate dialogue with customers and listen carefully to their needs and complaints. But here we expose one major problem – numerous customer requests can be mixed, lost or left unnoticed. Sounds familiar? Prevent this from happening once and for all with the Help Desk Ultimate extension.
Every Magento store is a brand new world that urges a very specific individual approach. We take into account many merchants’ needs: collect their requests, store them at one place and then consider for a new release. This is exactly how the Points & Rewards 1.6 version was brought to life.
