We started 2024 by proudly hosting a major event: Meet Magento Florida 2024 (MMFL24). As a global conference, it brought together the Adobe Commerce community – merchants, developers, and industry leaders – to share real-world insights, explore innovations, and build valuable connections.

With engaging keynote sessions, discussions, and incredible networking opportunities, MMFL24 powered by Rave Digital+Aheadworks became a perfect platform to celebrate progress and strengthen connections across the Adobe Commerce ecosystem.

This year was all about growth and strategic progress for our Magento extensions. We’ve focused on introducing powerful updates, new integrations, and long-term solutions for Magento 2 merchants.

Transition to SaaS: A Major Step Forward

One of our proudest achievements was transitioning Advanced Subscription Products to a SaaS-based format. This move brings significant benefits to businesses, including:

  • Simplified updates to reduce maintenance costs.

By embracing SaaS, merchants can now operate more efficiently and adapt to market changes with greater flexibility.

Saying Goodbye to Advanced Subscription Products Version 2

But with progress comes change. To embrace the future and continue to innovate, we sometimes have to say goodbye to certain things. This year, we made the decision to announce the sunset of the Advanced Subscription Products 2 development. This strategic step allows us to invest in modern, scalable solutions that better meet the evolving needs of businesses. Our goal remains the same: to provide cutting-edge tools that empower our customers to succeed in a fast-paced digital world.

New Features for Magento 2 Success: Boost Performance and Engagement

Of course, we didn’t stop there – 2024 saw the release of powerful new tools across our extensions:

  • Reward Points now offer bonus points for product reviews with images, giving merchants a new way to engage customers;
  • Store Locator integrates seamlessly with Google Maps, helping businesses make it easier for customers to find their nearest stores;
  • Advanced Subscription Products now equipped with Stripe support in multistore environments and smarter management of subscriptions with out-of-stock items.

Seamless Integrations: Elevating the Magento 2 Store Experience

At Aheadworks, we believe that powerful tools are even stronger when they work together. This year, we introduced a range of new integrations to help merchants get the most out of their Magento stores.These include powerful new combinations like:

On top of this, we expanded support for external tools and platforms:

  • Advanced Subscription Products now integrates with Klaviyo  for advanced email marketing and Stripe 4 for seamless payment processing. Tax and payment solutions were further strengthened with Avalara and Mollie integrations;
  • Smart One Step Checkout also gained Avalara support, simplifying tax automation during checkout for a more efficient customer experience;
  • Quick Order by SKU now works seamlessly with ElasticSuite to ensure faster and more efficient search, making operations smoother than ever.

And that’s not all! We’re also especially proud to share that 34 of our extensions now support Hyvä, helping merchants deliver a faster, smoother frontend experience.

Shopify App Growth: Smarter Tools for Marketing and Tracking

Our Shopify ecosystem saw significant growth in 2024. To help merchants succeed in their marketing and tracking efforts, we acquired two innovative apps:
