Aheadworks Extensions: August Updates 2022

With the soon coming end of support for Magento 2.3.x Aheadworks team dedicated all our resources to making our solutions up-to-date and fully-secure. 

August for Aheadworks is marked with the preparation of our Magento 2 plugins for Magento 2.4.5 compatibility.Today we can announce that all Aheadworks extensions have been tested and gained compatibility with Magento 2.4.5. You can check relevant information about your extension compatibility on the product page or user manual.

Alongside this, the following Magento 2 extension list has received updates to help you keep your online store secure with fewer bugs and maximum functionality:

Now Magento 2 Help Desk Ultimate extension is compatible with Magento 2.4.5.

Now support agents can be fully aware of a customer's reaction and its reasons by receiving a service message when the ticket rating has been changed in the ticket thread.

The agents now also can see all the tickets submitted by a customer with no regard to the way it is done: using Contact Us form or logging into the account and navigating to the My Tickets section. When tickets submitted by a guest user are displayed in the customer's account, it helps merchants not to miss any information customer shares.

Besides these, the extension integration with Advanced Reports for Magento 2 has been improved. With the latest update when using Help Desk (HDU extension and HDU reports addon) in integration with Advanced Reports, a Help Desk Ultimate reports point is added to the navigation menu in the Reports section. There you can check all relevant analytics related to Help Desk operation. Below you can find new features of these two extensions integration.

A report by tags with a chart is added, so extension users could select a date range and check ticket types in dynamics.

A new feature, Average First Response Time, is added. It gives merchants an opportunity to check how much time it takes for a support agent to reply on a ticket.

Merchants can also check how fast responses are sent from customers’ perspective with the Average Response Awaiting Time by Customer feature.

To measure support agents’ workload the Average Resolution Time metrics have been added to reports. It allows merchants to see how much time it takes for a support agent to resolve a ticket.

In addition to new features, an issue with the line breaks has been fixed in the latest extension release.

Magento 2 Gift Card extension is also compatible with Magento 2.4.5 now.

The issue related to the conflict with Klarna is fixed with the current release.

Also, we’ve fixed for:

  • Issue with installing the Blog module for Magento EE 2.4.5;
  • Error on compilation when MSI module is deleted;
  • Post can't be published when End Date is empty;
  • Migrated posts without filled in "meta description" field are not shown at Storefront;
  • Blog comment count not displayed in post list page and search page.

Among bugs fixed in this release are:

  • Issue with "Last Ordered Number";
  • Issue with Installation & Varnish Test and MFTF Magento Supplied.

Advanced Subscription Products for Magento 2 extension got a huge bug-free update. Almost 30 different issues have been fixed with this release. Here are some of them:

  • Fixed issue with Adyen 3D Secure 2 regular product
  • Fixed issue with compatibility with Adyen 8.2.0
  • Fixed issue with Reorder with Subscription from the backend
  • Fixed issue with creating subscription with zero total
  • Fixed issue with the refund payment
  • Fixed issue with products appear on the Category page with Bundle product, etc.

Now merchants can use Customer Attributes for selecting those who are eligible for joining the Referral program (in integration with Magento 2 Customer Attributes by Aheadworks). The feature helps to select customers manually and use customer groups for other matters.

With the latest release merchants have gained the opportunity to give rewards to customers based on cart content (totals, product combination, etc). This way they can motivate customers to increase total and/or to buy products of certain groups.

Integration with Magento 2 Refer a Friend extension has been added. Referral System can help users to encourage customers to bring their friends.
